Zelensky greeted Trump at the White House entrance and they shook hands before their significant meeting.

Inside the Oval Office, Zelensky’s team was seen carrying the WBC undisputed belt that Usyk won against Tyson Fury last year.

Boxing fans were surprised to see the belt displayed on a table while the two leaders spoke in front of the press.

One fan on X questioned if it was a replica.

Another asked the reason for the gift.

A third person commented negatively about Trump deserving it.

A fourth person wondered if Zelensky took the belt back after the talks reportedly became tense.

Following the meeting, reports suggest Trump asked Zelensky to leave the White House and called him “disrespectful”.

Ukrainian boxing star Usyk has an undefeated record of 23 wins, with 14 by knockout.

He joined soldiers on the front lines at the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine three years ago.

Usyk, 38, has been a world champion in two weight divisions, starting as a cruiserweight before moving to heavyweight in 2020.

Usyk has defeated notable boxers like Joshua, Daniel Dubois, and Tyson Fury twice, establishing himself as a top-ranked boxer.

Usyk defeated Fury for the second time last December in Riyadh to keep his championship belts.

Usyk is considering retirement from boxing.

When asked about retirement, he mentioned he might have about one to one and a half years left in boxing, feeling he has only two more fights to prepare for.

Usyk had mentioned fighting the winner of a Dubois vs Joseph Parker match, which was cancelled due to Dubois’s illness.

Dubois believes he is capable of defeating Usyk if they fight.

IBF holder Dubois stated his aim is to fight Usyk next and feels ready for the challenge, indicating he is improving after winning a world title.
