Valve has updated the rules for Immortal Draft in Dota 2, increasing the minimum MMR threshold.
Now, players with a rating of 8,500 MMR or higher will automatically be included in the Immortal Draft pool. To participate in these matches, players must officially register their nickname. Furthermore, the results of these matches will now be kept private.
In related news, Valve recently addressed an issue by closing a Chinese service that was used to access hidden data from professional Dota 2 team practices. This service exploited a vulnerability in the game’s API, but Valve took action after complaints from analysts and other members of the Dota 2 community.
