Aybek “TA2000” Tokayev, the carry player for Chimera Esports Dota 2 team, summarized their participation in DreamLeague Season 25 in a Telegram message.
He expressed ambivalent feelings about the tournament outcome. On one hand, he is pleased that the team reached the top 4, especially considering their initial low expectations. On the other hand, TA2000 feels he underperformed and believes they could have advanced further and even contended for the championship title. He feels he let down his teammates and himself. He thanked the team and specifically their coach, Alagon, and stated his intention to return stronger.
DreamLeague Season 25 took place online from February 16th to March 2nd, featuring 16 teams competing for a $1 million prize pool and 20,440 EPT points. Chimera finished the tournament in fourth place after losing to Team Spirit 1:2 in the lower bracket playoffs.
