Alexey “Smiling Knight” Sviridov, a Dota 2 player for AVULUS, has shared his thoughts on his team’s exit from the PGL Wallachia Season 3 tournament. He also discussed the weaknesses within the team.
Reflecting on their performance, Smiling Knight stated: “Regarding our performance, what can be said is: a limited hero pool, poor laning phase, lack of macro understanding, we tend to run around too much and farm too little. Conversely, we might end up farming the entire game without achieving anything, leading to increasing tilt with each match.”
AVULUS faced defeat against Natus Vincere in the fourth round of the group stage, with a score of 0:2. Consequently, Sviridov’s team concluded their participation in the event with a 1-3 record, securing a victory only against Mosquito Clan.
PGL Wallachia Season 3 is being held in Romania from March 8th to 16th. Sixteen teams are competing for a $1 million prize pool.
