Popular streamer Mike “shroud” Grzesiek has announced the members of his inaugural esports venture named SHROUD-X. The former professional Counter-Strike player revealed his partnership with an American roster for Marvel Rivals.
The team under Shroud’s banner previously competed as Intergalactic. This lineup has already participated in several Marvel Rivals tournaments, with some players having a background in Overwatch. Notably, the team recently achieved fourth place in the Marvel Rivals Championship Season 0: Dooms’ Rise for North America.
Shroud stated his intention to form an esports team after his audience donated $1 million to charity during a “fragathon” – a series of streams dedicated to raising funds for a children’s cancer hospital. The content creator clarified that there are no plans to expand into other esports titles at this time.
