Professional CS2 player Nathan “NBK” Schmitt will be an analyst at BLAST Open Lisbon 2025. The esportsman announced on X (formerly Twitter) that this will be his first official time joining a broadcast team.
Alongside NBK, the English broadcast analyst team for BLAST Open Lisbon 2025 will feature Jacob “Pimp” Winneche, Alex “Mauisnake” Ellenburg, and Donald “voo” Parkhurst. James “BanKs” Banks and Freya “Freya” Spiers will host the broadcasts. Mohan “launders” Govindasami and Conner “Scrawny” Girvan, as well as Alex “Machine” Richardson and Chad “SPUNJ” Burchill will be commentating on the matches.
NBK has previously commentated on CS2 tournament matches, including EMS One Katowice 2014 and ESL One Cologne 2014. However, in those instances, he attended the championships as a player and participated in broadcasts as a studio guest.
BLAST Open Lisbon 2025 will be held from March 19th to 30th. The group stage will take place at the tournament operator’s studio in Copenhagen, Denmark, and the playoffs will be held at the MEO Arena in Lisbon, Portugal. 16 teams will compete for a $400,000 prize pool.
