Dota 2 commentator Vladimir “Maelstorm” Kuzminov shared his analysis ahead of the resumption of the DreamLeague Season 25 grand final. Maelstorm’s statement was published on his Telegram channel.

Maelstorm commented on the situation, stating that the match will resume from the fourth map, where Team Tundra was losing but hadn’t yet lost. He highlighted that with new drafts and a fresh start, it’s clearly advantageous for Tundra, giving them a second chance. However, he also pointed out that Tundra still needs to win two maps, while Team Spirit only needs one more to secure victory. Maelstorm acknowledged Team Spirit’s strong performance, noting they had found their drafts and playstyle and were playing better. He concluded that while the situation seems relatively clear, a new day could bring significant changes and adjustments to the dynamics of the match.

The DreamLeague Season 25 grand final began on the evening of March 2nd. With Team Spirit leading 2:1, their players faced a DDoS attack. Cybercriminals were sending esports players 100 or more party invitations per second, causing Dota 2 to crash. Consequently, organizers decided to reschedule the match to March 4th, 18:00 Moscow time. The confrontation will continue from the 2:1 score, with the fourth map being replayed with new drafts.

DreamLeague Season 25 is held online from February 16th to March 4th. The championship participants are competing for a million dollars and 20,440 ESL Pro Tour points.
