m0NESY’s teammate, Nikita ‘HeavyGod’ Martynenko, acknowledged m0NESY’s captaincy in a social media post, expressing gratitude to “Captain Ilya” for “good calls”.
Previously, Rasmus ‘HooXi’ Nielsen was the captain of G2 Esports before departing in July 2024. Janusz ‘Snax’ Pogorzelski succeeded him, and is the current team captain as of this article.
ESL Pro League Season 21 is taking place in Stockholm, Sweden, from March 1st to 16th, with teams competing for a prize pool of $400,000. G2 Esports won against paiN Gaming with a score of 2:0.
