KSI ignited a chaotic scene at the pre-fight press conference by slapping Dillon Danis with a pancake.
Their fight was initially planned for January 2023, but Danis withdrew, leading to ongoing tension between them.
They are now set to resolve their differences in the ring on March 29 in Manchester. However, KSI initiated the confrontation early.
During a face-off, the YouTube star unexpectedly struck Danis with a pancake – it was Shrove Tuesday – hitting him in the face.
The MMA fighter reacted angrily and tried to attack KSI, as security personnel intervened to separate them.
Eventually, Danis and KSI were escorted out separately following the altercation.
KSI, 31, last fought in October 2023, suffering his first boxing defeat in a controversial decision against Tommy Fury, 25.
He was previously scheduled for a two-on-one match against YouTuber Slim Albaher, 30, and former MMA fighter Anthony Taylor, 35, last August.
However, KSI had to pull out due to a hand injury, from which he has since recovered.
Danis made his boxing debut on the undercard of KSI’s fight against Fury, against Logan Paul.
Paul, 29, won after Danis, 31, was disqualified for attempting an MMA move.
KSI admitted Danis was his fifth choice opponent but offered him the fight after struggling to find an alternative.
KSI predicts a knockout victory, ideally in the fourth round.
He anticipates Danis will be defensive after the first round, becoming an easy target.
KSI believes he will gradually wear down Danis before delivering a knockout blow in the fourth round.
Danis will face penalties if he attempts MMA moves, as he did against Paul.
Danis has stated his intention to “choke him unconscious and stomp on his head”.
