Taylor will face Serrano for a historic payday, headlining an all-women’s boxing event at the iconic New York arena.

The event, promoted by Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions, will be broadcast live on Netflix.

Taylor is currently ranked No. 2 on ESPN’s pound-for-pound list and has held undisputed titles in two weight divisions.

Their first fight in April 2022 was a landmark event, being the first women’s match to headline at MSG. It received global recognition and was named Fight of the Year by Sports Illustrated and Event of the Year by The Ring in 2022.

Taylor vs. Serrano was also nominated for Sports Business Journal’s Event of the Year, highlighting the event’s global impact.

Their rematch in November 2024 at AT&T Stadium, streamed on Netflix, broke viewership records with an average of 74 million viewers worldwide, becoming the most-watched women’s sporting event in US history.

It was also recognized as the 2024 Women’s Fight of the Year by ESPN, Sports Illustrated, and Boxing Scene.

Taylor expressed her excitement for the third fight, thanking Matchroom, MVP, and Netflix for making the trilogy happen and said she looks forward to headlining at MSG again in July.

She added that the rivalry with Serrano is special and always delivers, making a trilogy fight necessary. She recalled the amazing atmosphere of the first fight at MSG and anticipates a similar experience this time. Taylor hopes that the large audience from their last fight will tune in for the trilogy to witness another great boxing match.

Serrano, with a sense of vengeance, stated that she promised her fans the trilogy and is grateful it’s happening where it began – Madison Square Garden, live on Netflix.

However, Serrano expressed disappointment that Taylor did not agree to make the trilogy fight 12 three-minute rounds, equal to men’s boxing. She felt it was due to the fans to honor their handshake deal, especially with the record-setting payday.

Despite this, Serrano declared every fight with Taylor as “war” and believes July 11th will be the greatest yet, as she intends to secure the victory she believes she deserves.

Headlining an all-female card at MSG, representing New York and Puerto Rico, is something Serrano never imagined possible, and she credited Nakisa Bidarian, Jake Paul, and MVP for their commitment to promoting women’s boxing.

Serrano is proud to be part of a card filled with talented women and hopes their fight will inspire young girls to believe in themselves and pursue their dreams.

This event is expected to set a new financial benchmark for women’s boxing, with both Taylor and Serrano earning record-breaking purses, solidifying their status as the highest-paid female fighters.

Pre-sale ticket sign-ups are currently open, and the official on-sale date will be announced soon.
