Fans of the animated series “Invincible” will have to wait until 2026 for the premiere of the fourth season. The show’s creators announced this timeframe on social media platforms.
According to the production team, voice recording for the upcoming season has already been completed. They also revealed that Thrag, a significant character from the comics who leads the Viltrumite empire and is the strongest of his kind, will appear in season four. The actor voicing Thrag has not yet been disclosed.
“Invincible” is based on the comic book series of the same name. The initial setup and setting share similarities with “Superman” and “Spider-Man,” but the series distinguishes itself with its high level of violence and subversion of genre tropes. The story centers on Mark Grayson, a teenage superhero and son of Earth’s greatest protector. While crime-fighting initially appears exciting and glamorous, a dark secret is poised to dramatically alter his world.
The second half of “Invincible” Season 2 premiered on March 14, 2024. The series has garnered significant praise, holding a rating of 8.7 out of 10 on IMDb and 8.2 out of 10 on the Russian website “KinoPoisk.” Season 3 debuted on February 6, 2025, with the eighth and final episode airing on March 12. This finale was highly acclaimed, receiving exceptional ratings and considered one of television history’s best episodes.
