Professional Dota 2 player Melchior “Seleri” Hillenkamp has left the Gaimin Gladiators organization. The club announced his departure in a social media post.
Seleri had been with Gaimin Gladiators since 2022. With the team, he won several major tournaments, including The Bali Major 2023 and ESL One Berlin Major 2023, and reached The International grand finals twice.
In February, Seleri went inactive to take a break from Dota 2 due to a busy tournament schedule, but remained contracted with Gladiators. During this time, Malady Orazbayev stood in for him. Shortly after stepping down from the active roster, Hillenkamp stated that he hasn’t retired from Dota 2 and invited teams interested in future collaboration to contact him.
