Anthony Joshua is considering five possible opponents for his next boxing match, but Tyson Fury is not the most likely choice.
Joshua’s last fight was in September when he was defeated by Daniel Dubois, the IBF champion, by knockout.

A highly anticipated fight against Tyson Fury seemed probable, but Fury declared his retirement in January.
As Fury hasn’t reversed his retirement decision, Joshua might opt for a rematch against Dubois.
Eddie Hearn mentioned to talkSPORT: “Daniel Dubois is currently the leading contender. Ideally, Dubois would fight Fury, but if that doesn’t happen, Dubois is the primary option for Joshua.”
Hearn added Joseph Parker, Agit Kabayel, and Deontay Wilder as other potential opponents. Turki Alalshikh has expressed interest in seeing a fight with Wilder.
Hearn noted Martin Bakole as another possibility, but suggested it’s less likely due to potential criticism.
Joshua, aged 35, chose not to have an immediate rematch with Dubois, 27, who then agreed to fight Parker.
However, Dubois withdrew from the Parker fight in February due to illness contracted in Saudi Arabia.
Parker, 33, then fought and defeated Martin Bakole, 31, who stepped in as a last-minute replacement, in just one round.
Kabayel, 32, defeated Zhilei Zhang, 41, on the same event, securing the WBC interim title.
Former champion Wilder, 39, has recently lost to Parker by points and Zhang by knockout.
Wilder is rumored to be planning a comeback but hasn’t officially announced his return to boxing.
Recently, Wilder has been associated with a potential fight against Francis Ngannou, 38, former UFC champion, who has fought both Joshua and Fury in boxing matches and lost.
