Valve has announced the reactivation of Dota 2 servers in India and Dubai. Players in these regions can now connect to these servers after a two-year period of downtime.
The servers were initially taken offline in 2023 due to technical problems. Valve did not provide updates on when the servers would be available again, forcing players in India and the UAE to play with increased ping for an extended time.
It was previously reported that Valve launched a new server, which might be related to Dota 2 or a new project from the studio. More information could be found in another article.
