Dota 2 caster Nikita “4ce” Kotkov has shared his thoughts on the performance of Chinese teams in the group stage of PGL Wallachia Season 3. He posted his analysis on his Telegram channel.
4ce noted that two Chinese teams, Xtreme Gaming and Team Tidebound, dominated their matches at Wallachia, defeating strong teams like Tundra and Falcons respectively.
He raised the question of whether this signifies the return of China to the forefront of the Dota 2 competitive scene.
During the fourth day of the group stage, Xtreme Gaming and Team Tidebound secured their places in the playoffs. These Chinese teams concluded the group stage with a 3-1 record.
PGL Wallachia Season 3 is taking place in Romania from March 8th to 16th. Sixteen teams are competing for a $1 million prize pool.
