Dillon Danis says he needs to talk to Conor McGregor about McGregor being photographed with Jake and Logan Paul, who are considered rivals.
Danis, a long-time friend and training partner of McGregor, has had a feud with the Paul brothers for several years.
Jake Paul once threw toilet roll at Danis, and a boxing match scheduled for 2023 against Logan Paul resulted in a legal dispute.
Danis was reportedly conflicted when McGregor posed with the brothers at Donald Trump’s inauguration in January.
Speaking to SunSport, Danis said that he and McGregor need to discuss the matter.
He stated that while it shouldn’t be public, they haven’t yet had the chance to talk about it privately.
McGregor, 36, was photographed alongside both Paul brothers, which caused a stir on social media.
Later footage shared by the Paul brothers showed that there were heated exchanges with McGregor.
Danis, 31, had his first boxing match against Logan, 29, two years prior, but was disqualified for attempting an MMA-style submission.
The fight’s aftermath included a brawl in the ring, and legal issues are still ongoing.
Danis was sued by Logan Paul’s fiancee, Nina Agdal, for “revenge porn” due to his posts causing “humiliation, emotional distress, and reputational harm.”
According to the lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey in 2023, Danis engaged in “relentless, ongoing campaign of cyber harassment and bullying” against Agdal.
The lawsuit claims Danis used social media to promote the fight and escalate his feud with Paul.
It is alleged that Danis posted “hundreds of posts containing vulgar and disparaging pictures, memes and comments” about Agdal.
The lawsuit states that Danis has been “rewarded for that same conduct through an increased social media following and publicity” resulting in his posts being viewed over two billion times.
Agdal was granted a temporary restraining order to prevent Danis from posting “sexually explicit photographs” of her “on the internet without her consent.”
Her complaint also alleges he posted a sexually explicit photograph that was not intended for public sharing or was “obtained without consent.”
A judge granted Agdal the restraining order, prohibiting Danis from posting sexually explicit photos of Agdal without permission.
The lawsuit is ongoing, as is Danis’ fight with Logan Paul’s business partner KSI on March 29. Despite this, Danis does not regret his actions.
He stated he wouldn’t regret it if the claims weren’t true, but asserted that everything was already public on Instagram.
Danis mentioned he cannot discuss the lawsuit in detail but does not regret speaking the truth and exposing Logan, suggesting he was trying to help Paul and believes Paul will eventually thank him.
Danis was initially scheduled to fight KSI in January 2023 but withdrew. Now, three years later, they are set to fight.
Chaos occurred at a press conference when KSI slapped Danis with a pancake, leading to a brawl on stage.
Prior to this, Danis commented that he feels KSI is not his equal, describing KSI as a “little brother” he doesn’t particularly care about.
Danis stated his plan is to knock out KSI, get paid, and then fight Tony, viewing the KSI match as an easy boxing fight.
He expects KSI to avoid engagement for six rounds and is simply looking forward to hitting him.
