Nikita “Daxak” Kuzmin, a professional Dota 2 player, has revealed his career objectives in esports. He shared his ambitions during an interview on the KD CAST podcast on YouTube.

When asked about his career goals, Daxak responded that, like many others, he aims for both prestige and financial success. He mentioned that while some players prioritize winning The International, and others focus on earning a million dollars, he seeks a balance of both. He feels that his current achievements don’t fully reflect his investment and dedication to his career. While grateful for his journey and acknowledging he has secured enough money for the near future even without further income, he desires to win significant tournaments and earn substantial money, ideally reaching a million dollars.

Kuzmin also compared the income of professional Dota 2 players to that of popular streamers in the discipline. He stated that excluding tournament winnings, popular streamers likely earn more than professional players who don’t consistently win tournaments. He used the streamer Nix as an example, suggesting that Nix’s earnings as a content creator probably surpass those of most pro players, potentially even including prize money, highlighting Nix’s revolutionary popularity in the Dota 2 streaming scene.

Daxak’s Dota 2 career began in 2017. Since then, he has consistently placed in the top positions at major tournaments but has yet to win a tier-1 championship. According to Liquipedia, his total prize winnings are around $186,000. Currently, he is a free agent.
