Daniel Dubois is in discussions to have a rematch with Oleksandr Usyk at Wembley Stadium for the undisputed heavyweight titles.
Dubois was defeated by Usyk in the ninth round in August 2023, after a controversial moment involving a low blow.
Dubois has since become the IBF champion, while Usyk holds the other three titles: WBC, WBA, and WBO.
Usyk’s promoter, Alex Krassyuk, revealed that talks are ongoing to stage the fight for all four belts in London.
Krassyuk told Sky Sports: “We are now working on this fight, Wembley as one of the options.”
Usyk, 38, went down in the fifth round after Dubois, 27, landed a punch that was deemed below the belt.
This incident sparked controversy, with Dubois and his team claiming the punch was legal, and they even appealed to the WBA.
Despite the appeal, the result stood, and Usyk kept his titles and undefeated record, leading to two fights with Tyson Fury in 2024.
Usyk won the first fight by split decision in May, becoming the first undisputed four-belt heavyweight champion.
However, to proceed with the rematch on December 21, Usyk had to vacate the IBF title, which Dubois then received as he was elevated from interim champion.
Dubois knocked out Anthony Joshua, 35, in his first title defense in September, while Usyk defeated Fury, 36, again on points.
Following his victory over Joshua in Riyadh, Dubois entered the ring and called out Usyk, seeking a rematch.
Joseph Parker has theory about Daniel Dubois’ last-minute fight withdrawal
He exclaimed, “Usyk, I want my revenge! I want my revenge for last time. Let’s go. Where is Frank [Warren], let it happen?”
Dubois was originally scheduled to fight Joseph Parker on February 22 in Saudi Arabia to defend his title.
However, just two days before the fight, he became ill, and Martin Bakole was brought in from Congo to replace Dubois with very short notice.
Parker, 33, knocked out Bakole, 31, in the first round and challenged both Dubois and Usyk afterward.
