Esports streamer Zaur “Cooman” Shakhmurzaev expressed his belief that Dota 2 is not a game where women can effectively compete with men. He shared this opinion during a live stream with NEDOGONPOLYA.
Cooman stated directly, “‘Dota’? ‘Dota’ is not a game for women.” In response, NEDOGONPOLYA countered, “Come on, that’s not right. Actually, I used to play well. I played Dota more than CS.” However, Cooman remained firm, replying, “Even if you continue playing for another 20 years, it’s still not a game for women. This is purely my opinion, and I’m not imposing it on anyone.”
Previously, streamer Larisa “REIRA” Yudina, a participant in the BetBoom Streamers Battle 9 with the team DEVO4KI, offered her perspective on women’s teams in Dota 2. She suggested that while women’s teams may currently struggle to compete against men, the situation could evolve in the future.
