Update 1.30 for Control Ultimate Edition introduces a new mission called “Doctor Yoshimi Tokui’s Directed Visual Perception Experience.” This mission was created with the involvement of the renowned game designer Hideo Kojima.
Previously, this mission was exclusive to the Digital Deluxe edition on PlayStation 4. Now, it is available to all owners of Control Ultimate Edition on PC and new generation consoles.
To begin the mission, players must locate Dr. Tokui’s film within the extrasensory lab, situated in the research sector of the game. Notably, Hideo Kojima himself provided voice work for these in-game films.
In addition to the new mission, this update for Control includes new character costumes, enhanced graphical options, and full support for DLSS and DLAA technologies.
The original Control game launched in 2019 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Subsequently, cloud versions for Nintendo Switch and enhanced editions for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S were released. The game also features two story-based DLC expansions.
