Tensions have been rising in the lead-up to this fight, with Eubank having disagreements with both Benn and Hearn. One notable incident involved Eubank throwing an egg at Benn during a public appearance.

Hearn is strongly backing Benn to win against Eubank in their upcoming match, demonstrating his confidence by offering Eubank a £1 million bet.

Eubank, aged 35, has agreed to Hearn’s bet and cautioned him against trying to back out of the agreement.

In a video message shared on social media, Eubank addressed Hearn directly: “Eddie, come on Eddie. £1 million, huh? Alright.”

“Let’s see if you’re true to your word or just someone who creates hype with lies.”

“I officially accept your £1 million bet. And this £1 million will be from our personal funds, not from company money or fight earnings—a straightforward bet between you and me.”

“The money will be held in escrow, and the winner takes everything. Now, I’m looking forward to seeing you attempt to wiggle out of this bet like the rat I know you are. Good day.”

Eubank might appreciate the extra money, especially after recently being fined £100,000 for throwing an egg at Benn.

Eubank responded to the fine on Twitter, saying: “Worth every penny.”

He also had a heated exchange with Hearn at a pre-fight press conference, making his negative feelings towards the promoter clear.

Eubank stated: “Eddie, you are aware that I don’t like you, correct?”

“So, why on Earth would you think I’m interested in listening to any nonsense you’re about to say?”

Hearn quickly retorted: “Well, you’re going to have to.”

He then questioned, “Is this the Chris Eubank show?”

Eubank replied: “This is Eubank versus Benn. You can try to ruin the event, and in that case, I’ll communicate with Benn directly.”

“And you can be quiet. I’m not interested in hearing what you have to say.”
