ZA/UM has unveiled C4, a spy role-playing thriller in the spirit of Disco Elysium. A teaser for the project was released on the studio’s channel.
While not a direct sequel to Disco Elysium, C4 will share many similarities with the company’s previous title. Players will take on the role of an Operative serving a “contested global power,” seeking “truth and influence.” The developers emphasize that C4 will center around the mind, which is more fragile than the real world and can be “erased, altered, or remade.”
Writers Siim Sinamäe and Jim Ashilevi highlight that the game will significantly differ from Disco Elysium, adding that failures will play an important role. These failures will not lead to the end of the playthrough but can bring joy in themselves, making each player choice meaningful.
Currently, C4 has no release date or list of target platforms. The developers promise to provide more details later, without specifying any timeframe.
