Former three-division world boxing champion, Iran Barkley, was urgently taken to a hospital after experiencing a stroke.
Fortunately, his promoter has released an encouraging update regarding his health.
Iran Barkley, aged 64, had a successful boxing career from 1982 to 1999, winning 43 out of 63 professional bouts.
During his impressive career, the American boxer held world titles in three weight classes: WBC middleweight, IBF super-middleweight, and WBA light-heavyweight.
In 1990, he faced a setback with a first-round knockout loss to Nigel Benn while contending for the WBO middleweight title.
