The drama film “Anora” has been awarded the prestigious Oscar for Best Picture of the Year.

“Anora” tells the story of a love affair between a stripper from Brooklyn and the son of a Russian oligarch. In addition to the top prize, the film also received Oscars for Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, and Best Editing for director Sean Baker, and Best Actress for the lead role performed by Mikey Madison.
