Former professional Counter-Strike 2 player Ilya “Ganginho” Chernichenko has suggested that Igor “w0nderful” Zhdanov may have been involved in match-fixing with the team MAJESTY. This information came to light during a stream and was highlighted by the YouTube channel “CS2 SHORTS RAISE”.
Ganginho’s conclusions are drawn from the fact that all members of the MAJESTY team, except w0nderful, were banned on the same day. Ganginho believes that w0nderful might have cooperated with ESIC and “snitched” on his teammates to avoid punishment himself.
The MAJESTY team roster included nat1ve, THRONE, w0nderful, DarkS1DE, and j3kie. All players except w0nderful received bans following an ESIC investigation. Ganginho mentioned that ESIC directly informed him about a potential one-year ban for cooperation, implying that w0nderful might have negotiated a deal, possibly even avoiding a ban altogether.
During the same stream, it was revealed that ESIC initially contacted Daniil “nat1ve” Bakin, offering him cooperation. According to nat1ve, w0nderful was also implicated in the violations, but nat1ve chose not to disclose this information to the commission.
