Edgar “9Class” Naltakyan, a Dota 2 player for PARIVISION, has published a message to his fans. In a post on his Telegram page, the esports athlete mentioned that he would like to share a lot with his audience but is unable to do so “in the interest of the team and competition.”

He states that while he has a lot he wants to share, his involvement in professional esports limits what he can publicly disclose for the sake of his team and competitive fairness, which he finds a bit disappointing.

9Class points out the lack of smurfing and the ease with which information spreads from public matches. He believes opposing teams are monitoring player activity. Sharing further insights could give them an unnecessary advantage, essentially doing their homework for them.

As an example, he noticed that shortly after he played Stalker 4 in five games, others started actively playing the hero. This made him realize that many are watching his gameplay. This is why he couldn’t share detailed information about the hero, its use, or counters, even though it was new. The same applies to Venomancer in the jungle, a strategy he didn’t invent but generated some hype (leading to it being banned against him throughout a tournament). He notes that the meta is changing, new heroes are emerging, but detailed guides are not being released.

Looking ahead, 9Class aims to post more lifestyle content, including stream announcements and reviews of books he has read. He describes it as turning his channel into more of a personal diary.

He also reaffirms his commitment to managing his channel personally, resisting the trend of handing it over to SMM professionals for purely efficient, but less personal, content creation.

Previously, Naltakyan discussed who he considers the most toxic players in public matchmaking within the professional Dota 2 scene, even including himself in the list.
